ACE I /D, LTA C804A, HPA-1(A/B) AND BETA FIBRINOGEN455 G-A GENE POLYMORPHISMS GENOTYPE AND ALLEL FREQUENCY IN ISCHEMIC STROKE PATIENTS (ISAS 2018_103)

ABSTRACT Stroke in cerebrovascular diseases occurs as a result of the breakdown of the blood flow to the brain. In this study, our objective is to investigate the genotype and allele distributions of ACE I /D, LTA C804A, HPA-1(a/b) ve Beta fibrinojen 455 G-A gene polymorphisms in stroke patients. The results of the ACE I /D, LTA C804A, HPA-1(a/b) gene polymorphisms in 76 patients were evaluated retrospectively. These patients were divided into two groups as stroke patients male and female. In the analysis, CVD A (Cardiovascular Disease Atherosclerozis) Strip assay kit which is based on reverse hybridization technique was used. The genotype frequency of male and female patients with ischemic stroke was In terms of LTA C804 gene polymorphism.respectively 11% / CA %30%/ CA%59%, AA% 5% /CA % 36%/ cc % 59%, The frequency of male and female genotypes in terms of ACE gene polymorphisms was 41% / I/D 46% / I/I 13%, DD %33% / I/D 44% / I/I 13% 23%, The genotype frequency of the male and female genotypes was 41%/ AA 59%, DD 8% /GA 36%/ AA 54% In terms of beta fibrinogen 455 g-a gene polymorphisms. When we evaluated allel frequencies in terms of ACE gene polymorphismWhen we examine the male and female genotype frequency in terms of hPa-1 polymorphism , BB-/ ba%16/ AA%84 , bb-/ ba %23/ AA %77,, we found that allel frequencies were AA (8%), BB (92%), AA (12%), BB (88%) in our patients with hPa-1(A/B) gene polymorphism. Beta fibrinogen 455 g-a gene polymorphisms were found in the GG (20%) AA (80%), GG (27%) AA (73%) frequencies of male and female patients. There was no statistically significant difference in genotype and allel frequency in
comparison of groups with respect to LTA C804A, ACE I /D, hPa-1(A/B), beta fibrinogen455 G-A gene polymorphisms (p>0.05). Ace D genotype and allel polimorphisims distributions in patients with ischemic stroke were higher than the heterozygote genotype frequencies in the population.
