ABSTRACT Nowadays, home automation systems are one of the areas where technological developments are applied. Thus, devices such as doors, windows, lighting, heating, cooling, security cameras, elevator, fire, water pressure, garage, solar energy systems and TVs, curtains, washing machines, dishwashers and kitchen tools at home can be controlled. By the virtue of studies on this area with the different control systems, productivity is ensured such as energy saving, safety, time, comfort and convenience for people with physical disabilities.

This study consists of software and hardware parts. A prototype intelligent home is designed for the mobile controlled intelligent home automation. In the scope for application of mobile control, entrance gate, garage door, curtain, air conditioner, lamp, temperature and motion sensors have installed to the home. DC motors have been used in the doors, curtain and air conditioner. A controller has used to control these devices which are in the home. The software to be used in the operation of the system is designed in the computer environment and transferred into the controller. A user interface has been developed to allow remote control of the home devices. The user interface has been designed with mixed software logic to work in different operating systems like android, IOS, Windows, Windows Phone and compatible with all brands of mobile devices with different models and equipment. With this application interface installed on the mobile device, it is possible to remote control of the devices in the home. Also the software is performs audible control.
