ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the relationship between employees' organizational commitment and happiness levels. Organizational commitment means that members of the organization strongly believe in and accept the organization's goals and objectives, to be willing to work on what is expected of them and desperately wants to continue to work as an employee of organization (Özdaşlı vd., 2009). Happiness is, according to Bülbül and Giray (2011), defined as one feels more positive emotions, less negative ones and high level satisfaction which is taken from life. Organizational commitment levels of employees were measured by Meyer and Allen
(1984, 1997) Organizational Commitment Scale; happiness levels measured by the Oxford Happiness Scale-Short Form. The research questionnaires were obtained from 165 participants who were working in the academic and administrative positions of Pamukkale University using sampling method easily. Linear Regression Analysis was applied to determine the effect of organizational commitment on happiness level. The research findings determined that organizational commitment have a positive significant effect on employees' happiness level.
