The importance of the service quality has increased because of the rapid development of the technology and globalization. In the global competition environment, teaching of the students that can provide the expectations of the society and the business world is becoming important gradually. When viewed from this aspect, the quality of the education given in the schools is so important to provide the country development and to increase the level of the social wealth. In this study, SERVQUAL method that is one of the service quality measurement method is used to determine the difference between the expected service and the perceived performance of the services given in the state and private schools in Sakarya. The expected and perceived performance levels relating to education services are compared by analyzing the collected data through the face to face questionnaire method.
